Dunedin, 18th July, 1877. 18jy PUBLIC NOTIFICATION. ~ IN conformity to the 29th section of the " Gold Fields Act, 1866," and to the Regulations mide un<ler that Act and the Gold Fields Act Amendment Acts of 1867, 1868, and 1869, for the granting of leases for gold mining purposes within the Province of Otago, it is hereby notified that it is intended to grant *. lease for gold mining purposes of Crown Lands to the applicant specified in the annexed Schedule, unless there shall be valid objections against granting such lease. Objestions to the granting of such lease, stating the grounds of objection, must be made in writing and lodged with the Warden at Queenstown, on or before the 30th day of August, 1877. Copy of the application made, and plans annexed, may be seen at the Warden's Office at Queeastown. SUBURBAN SECTIONS IN THE TOWNSHIP OF SEAWARD BUSH ON DEFERRED PAYMENTS. WEDNESDAY, 12th SEPTEMBER, 1877. THE following Sections in the above Township will be sold by public auction on WEDNESDAY, 12th SEPTEMBER prox., at the Land Office, Invercirgil), at noon, on the following conditions of deferred payments, viz. :— _ One-fifth of the purchase money to be paid at the time of sale, and the remainder by four equal annual instalments. The purchaser, within twelve calendar months of the day of the sale, shall erect on the land a habitable dwelling-house of the value of not less than £25, and personally occupy the same until the purchase money is fully paid ; and also shall, within two and a half years of the date of sale, enclose the section with a substantial fence, and cultivate one-quarter of it. Ob any breach of these conditions, the land will be forfeited. At the expiration of three years from the day of sale, if the purchaser shall have fulfilled all the above conditions, he may pay the whole l-alance of the purchase money and obUiu a Crown Grant for the laud.
