Mining. WEST COAST.
NO TOWN. Our correspondent writes : — Miners are again complaining of the want of water, but the fine spell of frost we have had during the past month is now over, and we may expect a steady rainfall soon. A good few of our miners are now employed at road labonr in the locality, and the others are hard at work in their various claims. A prospecting party will make a start this week to give the ground a fair trial between No Tpwn and Red Jack's via the new track, and it is to be hoped that in^ such splendid-looking country they will soon find payable ground. — Grey River Argus.
