THE WORD HUNT.
We have received a large number of lists in this Prize Competition, and it will take us some time to look them over. Several have given their initials' only, instead of giving their names in full, so that we shall have to judge of their sex by the handwriting. The result will be announced in our next. We must express our gratification at the interest which our boys and -girls have taken in the Competition. The examination, of the lists is no trifling task. Next time we have a hunt, the word must be a shorter one. In the mean time we intend to offer prizes for short articles or essays for the Children's Corner and Ladies' Column.
