GREEN ISLAND COUNCIL.
t The regular meeting of the Municipal Coun-.' cil of Green Island was held on Tuesday even-i ing last. All the members were present. \ A letter was read from the Colonial Secre-' tary, acknowledging the Clerk's letter inform-J ing him of the Mayor's re-election. \ An account from Mr Livingston, for station-; cry, &c, was passed for payment.' j Mr Gray gave notice that at next meeting he' would move — " That, out of this year's income, t a sum of money be set aside for the purpose of, procuring a site on which to erect Council; Chambers." j The Clerk was instructed to inform the Cor-> poration Engineer that it has been decided that'; he should come and survey all the streets and' fix permanent levels. The Council adjourned.
