A "COMMERCIAL TRANSACTION."
The following is a commercial transaction which lately occurred in Duneain, the recapitulation of which is sufficient' without need of note or comment :— a! bought from B. a number of shares in value a little over £200. When I say A^ I -must explain that A. did not pay B. the money for them* A got a sale note, but B. (a gentleman who is reputed with no inconsiderable show of reason to know his way about), was careful to hold the scrip until he got his money. Well, on the strength of this ! sale 'note, A. went to a third party, C 2 hfih *°i. Mm the £20 ° worth of « hare » it may be remarked, indulge, not un frequently, in that unhealthy way of doing business. O. gave -A. his (O.s) biU for the amount, £200 odd.
