IMPORTANT TO OWNERS OF CATTLE AND SHEEP.
The attention of owners of cattle and sheep is drawn to the following section of the Cattle and Sheep Ordinance, which is very stringent : — " Every owner of cattle or sheep shall in the month of September in every year deliver in writing to the Registrar of the District in which such cattle or sheep shall be depasturing, a return of the number of cattle or sheep owned by him or under his charge, and certifying whether the above cattle and sheep are free from disease, and shall append thereto a declaration that such return is true to the best of his knowledge and belief, and every person neglecting to make such return and declaration, or making a false return, shall forfeit and pay a penalty not less than £10 nor more than £50." ?N hi i i^^^m^^"^^— — ■ '■■ i i i■ ■ i —^w^
