At the Opposition caucus it was unanimously agreed that they could not agree to any such proposal, but would oppose it as strongly as possible, although if the inajorit}' were against them iv the Hou-.e they would of course submit.

The Opposition intend to entertain Sir George Grey at a complimentary dinner next week or the week after.
