By the Claud Hamilton, which arrived at the Bluff yesterday from Melbourne, news was received from London to the 19th inst.
A private telegram, dated the 18th, states that monetary stocks are depressed in London, and the opening wool rates are expected to show a decline. Another telegram, dated the 15th, says money is easier.
The Cubans have shot 57 more of the Virginia's filibustering crew. America demands reparation, and threatens extreme measures. England has notified to Spain that without prejudice to any action she may take in regard to the 16 English who were shot, she will hold Spain responsible if any more are executed. Senor Castelar, the President, says he will maintain the honour and integrity of Spain, but will telegraph to England and America the satisfaction required by international law. A British squadron has been ordered to Cuba. 26 Englishmen were on board the Virginia.
