Hokitika, February 23rd.
The s.s. Rangitoto with the English mails, via Suez, on toard, arrived at eight o'clock this morning. She left Melbourne on thi night of the 17th, and experienced moderate weather throughout the passage.
Passengers : For Wellington — Mr Kay, Mrs Robertson, Messrs Henry, Reid, and T. R. Cash. For Lyttelton— Mr G. G, A. M'Quarie and Mrs McDonald. For Dunedin— Mr James Smith, Mr and Mrs Robert Harper, and 40 in the steerage for all ports.
