That it is desirable to' form a Society in Otago,' to be incorporated with the New Zealand Institute, , 2. That the following gentlemen be a Provisional Committee to take charge of the formation of the Society (with power to add to their number) :■— • Mr Justice Ward Rev. D. M. Stuart Mr J . S. Hislop. 3. That the subscription to the Society be one guinea per annum; and that all gentlemen sending in their names, with the amount of their subscriptions, to, the Provisional Committee before August Ist, be deemed original members of the Society. Gentlemen desirous of joining in this movement are requested to communicate as early as possible with the Honorary Treasurer of the Provisional Uommittee, W. D.
