AT a Publio Meeting held in Dunedin, on the 3rd insl. , the following resolutions were passed :— 1. That It is desirable to form a Sooiety in Otago, to be incorporated with the ! New Zealand Invtituto. 2. That tho following gentlemen bo a Frovisional Oomxnitteo to take ohargo of tho formation of the Sooiety (with power to add to their number) :— : Mr Justice Ward Her. D. M.
