Messrs. Drivkb, Maciean & Co. report—

Prime Beef, 32s to 35s per lOOlbs. Prime Mutton, 3d per lb., in town. Store Cattle— Mixed mobs, £5 10s to £7 ; do bullooks. three to five years, £6 to £8.

Good Dairy Cows, £10 to £14. Store Sheep— Wethers, 4-tooth and upwards, 6s to 7s ; ewes," 2-tooth, 8s to 10s ; do, 2, 4, and 6-tooth, *te to 7s 6d.

Messrs Wright, Stepuenson, and Co. roportfortbe week ending the 26th mat., as follows :— Fat Cattle— none yarded ; prime beef is worth 30s per lflOlbs Fat Sheep— We sold privately 1500 head meriaos, at 24dper lb., which may be taken as the present price for good quality mutton ; halfbceds, 3d per lb. Store Cattle— We have heard of no transactions in this description of stook ; we quote bullocks, from three to five years old, L 7 to L 7 10s ; mixed lots, L 6to L 6 10s. Store Sheep—There is no alteration to report since our quotations of last week. Country Sales— At Waikouaiti, we sold by auction 60 head dairy cattle ; cows brought from L 9 6s to Ll2 16a ; heifers one and two years old, L 4 to L 8 15s ; steers, L 6 10s to L 77» 6& Horses— Business in this branch ban been quiet, the principal enquiry is for heavy draught. The shipment ex Beautiful Star realized fair rates. Quotations are— first-class heavy draught, LSO and upwards ; medium, L3B to L 43 ; good hacks aud light harness horses, L2O to L 26 ; inferior, L 7 to Ll2.
