STOCK REPORT.

Messrs. Driver, Maclean & Co. report — Prime Beef, about 35s per lOOlba. Prime Mutton, 2dto2£d per lb., in town, Store Cattle— Mixed mobs, £7 to £8 ; do, Bullocks, 2 to 5 years, £8 to £9.

Good Dairy Cows, Lls to £20.

Store Sheep — Wethers, 4-tooth and upwards, 7s to 8s ; ewes, 2-tooth, 8s to 10s ; do, 2, 4, and 6-tooth, 7s to Ss.

Messrs Wright, Stepiienson, and Co. report, for the week ended the 20th inst. as follows : —

Fat Cattle. — A draft of thirty, good quality and heavy weights, brought from LlO 15s to Ll4 15s, equal to about 32s 6d per lOOlbs. Fat Sheep. — Several small lots have bnen sold at from 8s to 9s 6d for welhers ; a draft of old ewes realised 4s 9d each ; good mutton is worth 2\i per pound, delivered in town ; fat lambs from 8a to Ss 6d. Store cattle. — A mob of 170 were placed at L 7 10s. Horses, — but few were sold during the week, and the market continues glutted. Quotations are, for heavy draught from L3B to L 45 ; medium do, from L 25 to L 35; good hacks, from L2O to L 25 ; unbroken light colts, from L 9 to Ll4; inferior, from L 4 10s to LB.

Yards, Green Island, on the 20th mat. The attendance was considerable. Thirty head of cattle and a dozen of horses were exposed. Heifers went freely at from L 5 12s 6d to L 8; and young calyes at the rate of L 2 per head ; good serviceable hacks from LlB and upwards. For the convenience of the surrounding settlers these sales are to be held monthly, which will prove a great boon to the district.
