(from otjr own correspondents.) Wellington-, January 7th. Mr M'Lean reports that the Sturt has just come in at Napier, bringing the good news that Ngatapa is taken, and about a hundred of the enemy killed. The loss on our side is ten men and one officer killed, and ten men and one officer wounded. 80 prisonera have been taken, 14 of them men. Nikora, chief of the Ngatihineuru, ia killed. The enemy is being followed up. Mr Richmond, no doubt, will give full particulars. The intelligence ia most gratifying.
