Hero is a black horse, with superior action, i got by the famous Clydesdale horse Prince 'Royal (imported 'by" W. H/ Valpy-,' Esq, from Scotland). The dam of Hero was an imported Clydesdale mare from Twofold Bay, bred by the Clyde Company. Hero was a prize taker at the Northern Pastoral and Agricultural Show held at Oamaru, in 1863. He also took the first prize at the Waikouaiti and Shag ValleyAgricultural and Pastoral Show, held at Waikouaiti, in April 1867. Terms, L 4 10s j Groom's fee, os.
