DUNEDIN PRODUCE REPORT. Feb. 13, 1868.
Mr C. W. Loeenzen, Produce Salesman, Jetty street, reports :—: — There is not much inquiry for oats, and no orders are on hand for shipment. Good srmples are freely offered at 2s 9d per bushel, indicating that the price has not been affected by the late floods. Wheat is advancing. None of the new crop has been offered. In consequence of heavy imports from Melbourne and. Canterbury, potatoes have undergone a reduction in price Millers are asking £18 per ton for Provincial flour. The following are the latest quotations': — Wheat. — 6s ; inferior, 5s per bushel. Flour. — Colonial, £1S per ton. Seconds.— £s per ton. Bran. — £5 per ton. Maiz#— 3s 6d per bushel. Barley. — 4s 3d to 4s (id per bushel, Oats. — 2s 9dper busheL Okaep. — £4 to £4 10s per ton. Hay. — Oaten, loose £5 ; trussed, £6 per ton. Straw.— (Oat and wheat), £2 j»er ton. Eye Grass Seed. — Prime quality, 7s to 7s 6d per bushel. Eye Grass Hay and Clover. — £3 10s to £4 per ton. Potatoes. — New, white, £5 per ton ; Deiwent, £/ 10s. Peas. — Green, 15s per ewt. Horse beans, Gs per bushel. Bone Dust. — None in. the market. Corn Sacks. — 14s per dozen.
