DUNEDIN PRODUCE REPORT.
August 24, 1866. Mr C. W. Lorekzex, Produce Salesman, Jetty street, reports : —
There has b^en a pretty well sustained demand for oats since last report, and several Sots have been placed, for shipment, at ss. One parcel of 3000 bushels Bold at 4< lOd. Wheat is without change. Accouots from Adelaide show a further decline in wheat aud flour. The following an the latest quotations :—: — Wheat. — 4s 9d to 5s ; inferior, 4s 3d to 4s 6d per bushel. Flour — Besf, town, dull of sale, freely offered ut £14 10s to £15 per ton. Sharps. — £9 per ton (scarce). Bran. — Is lOd per bushel. Barley.— English, 5s 3d to 53 6d ; inferior, 4s 9 i to 5s per bushil. Maize. — 6s 31 to 6s 6d. Oats.— 4s lOd to ss. Hat.— Oaten, £5 153 to £6 10s per ton. (scarce.) Rye Grass, Hat, and Clover.— £s to
£5 5s per ton. Rye Grass Seed. — 7s 6 1 to Ss per bushel. Chaff.— £5 ti> £5 10s per ton. Straw — Oat and Wheat, £2 per ton. Potatoes.— £4 5s to £4 10s per ton. Pig potatoes, £3 per ton. Turnips— £2 10s to £3 103 per ton. Carrots.- -£5 per ton. Mangold Wurzel. — £3 to £3 10s per ton. Corn Sacks, 17s per dozen.
