Buyers are purchasing just sufficient to supply demand, the firm impression being that a decline will take place in prices^ seeing the new crop will be here from Victoria m a few weeks. Provincial, £8 ; imported, £6. Turnips.— £4 to £6 per ton. Wheat.— So few transactions are taking place, that it is difficult to quote a price.
