PARTNERSHIP NOTICE. r |PHE Undersigned beg to apprise Merchants JL and the Settlers in the .Northern District, that they have entered into CO-PART-NERSHIP, under the style or firm of JAMES HASSELL & CO:, for the purpose of carrying on business at OAMARU, as Wool Brokers, and Agents for the Sale of Stock, Stations, and Real Property. JAMES HASSELL & CO. beg to intimate to the Merchants, Wool Growers, and others interested in the Northern District of the Province, that they are now erecting a LARGE STORE, fully capable of containing 1500 bales, for the reception of WOOL for sale, classing and packing, or shipment. When the season commences, they intend holding fortnightly sales by auction of Wools consigned to them by settlers wishing to sub" mit their staple to public competition. From the increased number of buyers in the market, the Brokers respectfully urge this medium of disposing of their Wools upon the settlers of the District, feeling confident that it will be found to be that by which they will realize their highest market value. Every facility will be given to Purchasers by the thorough Opening out of the Lots offered, and each Bale will be so placed that they can be readily examined. Settlers in all the Australian Colonies after long experience have universally adopted this means of Disposing of their Clips. *** Goods Stored at Current Rates. JOHN BARNES BEGS to inform the Inhabitants of Dunedin and Tokomairiro that he intends running his SPRING VAN regularly between the above places. The Van will start from Dunedin every Monday morning at 8 o'clock, reaching the Taieri Ferry at 1, and the Tokomairiro at 4 p.m. ; leaving Tokomairiro on Tuesday at 8, and the Taieri Ferry at 10 a.m., and arriving at Dunedin at 4 p.m. ; starting again from Dunedin on Thursdays at the same hour for the Taieri Ferry and Tokomairiro, and returning on Ehiday to Dunedin. Passengers will require to pay their fares on the night previous, and forward their luggage to the Van. J. B.s Drays, with Luggage for Tokoraairiro, &c, will be punctually despatched from Dunedin every Monday and Wednesday. Storekeepers may enter into contract for six months to have their goods forwarded by this conveyance ; also Flockowners who may have Wool to forward to their agents in town. NOTICE.
