REGISTRATION OF ELECTORS. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that all ] duly qualified persons desirous of having - 1 their Names placed on the Electoral Roll for ( the election of Members of the HOUSE OF k j REPRESENTATIVES for the Dunedin Country and Toum of Dunedin Districts, and also on the Electoral Roll for the election of Members of PROVINCIAL COUNCIL of Otago, for the Toum of Dunedin District, the Town of Port Chalmers District, the Eastern ( District, the Western Disii-ict, the Central ' District, the Tokomairiro District, the Clutha District, and the Northern District, may prepare Claims, in the form No. 1 of the Schedule hereunto annexed, having thereunder or thereon endorsed a declaration, made before and attested by a Justice of the Peace or the Registration Officer, iv the form No. 2 of the said Schedule, and deliver or cause the same to be delivered to me. I.— The Town of Dunedin District Comprises the site of the Town of Dunedin. 2. — The Dunedin Country District Comprises all that portion of the Middle Island of New Zealand east of the 169 th degree of east longitude, not comprised in the Town of Dunedin, which is comprised within the boundaries of the Province of Otago. PROVINCIAL COUNCIL ROLL. 1. — The Toion of Dunedin District Comprises the Town and Town Belt of Dunedin, as delineated on the New Zealand Company's map of the Otago Settlement. 2.— The Toion of Port Chalmers District Comprises the Town and Town Belt of Port Chalmers, as delineated on the New Zealand Company's map of the Otago Settlement. B.— -Eastern District. North by the Otago Harbour to the Town Belt of Dunedin ; thence by the said Town Belt to the road line, forming the northern boundary of suburban sections Nos. 92 and 91, Block VI., town district ; thence by the eastern and northern boundaries of section 80 of the same block and district ; thence by the western boundary of said section and |S of sections 77, 78, and 79 of the same block and district to a road line ; thence by said road line to section 50 of the last mentioned block and district ; thence by a road line forming the north-eastern boundary of section 50 and of section 18 Lower Kaikorai District ; thence by the north - western boundary of said section 18, and of sections 19, 20, and 21 of same district ; and thence by a right line running through the trigonometrical station on Kaikorai Hill to Abbott's Creek. South by the Ocean. East by the Ocean. West by Abbot's Creek to its junction with the Kaikorai River ; thence by the Kaikorai River to the Ocean. 4. — Western District. North-west and west by a right line from the north-western head of Purakunui Harbour to the trigonometrical station on Flagstafl Hill ; thence by a right line to the northwest corner of suburban section 41, Wakari district ; thence by the surveyed lands tc the south-west corner of section 155, Wakar: district ; thence by a right line to Abbot's Creek to the north-west point of the Easterr District. South-west by the Eastern District. South and south-east by the Town of Dunedin District to the Harbour of Otago thence by the harbour to the Town Belt o Port Chalmers ; thence by the Town Bel again to the harbour; and thence by th< harbour-North-east by the Ocean.
