REGISTRATION OF DOGS. riIHE PUBLIC IS HEREBY WARNED i- that the Constables are now instructed to lay Informations against parties who have failed to Register their Dogs in accordance with the provisions of the Dog Nuisance Ordinance. The penalties provided by the Ordinance are £5 for not registering, and £5 for refusing to exhibit a " Registration Ticket." The Fee for Registration is 10s. for each dog, which is due and payable annually on Ist April. Parties living at a distance from JDunedin. may safely send their Registration Fejes by the Provincial Postmen ; that course has been very generally adopted by country settlers, ROBT.
