In July the John Taylor, 788 tons, and Mahtoree, 305 tons, sailed from London with cargo and passengers for New Zealand. In the same month 8 vessels sailed from the Clyde, 1 from Dundee, 1 from Leith, and 86 from several parts of England, for the Australian colonies, — in all 96, with a tonnage of 49,405. In August the following vessels sailed for New Zealand: — Baltazara, for Auckland. Hamilia Mitckell, for Auckland and New Plymouth. Carnatic, for Otago, Canteibury, and Wellington. Con&tantine, for Nelson, Wellington, and Otago. The new hrigantinc Clutha, 2.30 tons burthen, from Leith for Otago, Canterbury, Wellington, Nelson, and Auckland, was to be despatched about the middle of August, carrying an experienced supercargo. To sail in September : — On the 10th, the Northftcet, for Wellington, Canterbury, and Auckland ; same day, the Ladj Clarke, for Auckland and New Plymouth. In all September, the Stately, for Otago and other ports. Slip is advertised to bring two Ministers to Otago, sent out by the Free Church. The Kelson, for Nelson and Wellington. — London Times, Aug. 31. The Stately, from Wellington on the Ist of May, arrived at Gravesend on the 22nd August.
