COLOMBO SCANDAL.
SPEAKER AS CO-RESPONDENT. The Speaker of the State Council, Mr A. F. Molamure, has been ordered to pay 25,000 rupees damges and costs as co-respondent in a divorce suit in which Mr Aserappa, medical officer for. health at Colombo, sued his wife on the grounds of adultery with Mr Molamure. : 1 ’-SSI
The District Judge accepted the evidence of three ladies, one a prominent social worker, who deposed that they had seen respondent and co-respondent in the matron’s room of the Victoria Home for Incurables. Dr. Aserappa was granted a decree nisi.
