HOCKEY.
The mu!di between the Levin aud Oban ladies' hockey teams was played in the presence of a large crowd at Kuku on Wednesday afternoon. The result was a win for Ohau by two goals to nil. The. victors were tho harder hitting combination. but the Levin girls are improving with every match they play and are not lacking in the enthusiasm that should keep them together. After the game, the Ohau team entertained the Levin players and the visitors to a very nice afternoon tea at the Kuku meeting house. M-antikati defeated Kuuimwa bv 4 0. _ Tr Horn beat l/araparaumu, I—o.1 —0. This was a good game. The Te lloro Club acknowledge with thanks donations from Messrs Fiebig and Gawler. Teams will play in Manakau aud Raukawa colours, and Mr. W. Kajpk will manage the team.
