EUCHRE PARTIES.
The Otaki Fire Brigade- hold another of: their popular socials. on-Wednesday night when there was a splendid attendance. Great interest was taken in the games, prizes being won by Mrs. Twist and Mr. Ball (To Hor.o),' while Mr. H. Freeman and Mrs. Albert Smith won the consolation trophies. Dancing was indulged in to fine music supplied by Mr. O'Neill, while the supper supplied was fully appreciated. The Kahili Hockey Club's social on Wednesday night was well attended, and an enjoyable evening spent. First prizes were won by Mrs. Flutey and Mr. J. iCookslev, and second prizes by Mrs. ,r. Cooksley and Mr. W.Kendriek. Points prizes were won by Mrs. Flutey and Mr. (.1. Rhodes. A dance followed, Miss Toroturu supplying .the music, while an appetising supper was served.
