STOCKHOLM. The possibility of establishing a regular daily ferry between Sweden and England ha 3 been much discussed. If the port Gothenburg in Sweden were used for this purpose, the ferry would greatly facilitate the transport of wood and other products to England. It has been decided for the preseut. however, to concentrate efforts upon bettering the. service of the Ltoyd Company which runs boats between Gothenburg and Tilbury. The King has been asked to give a loan on the part of the state of 1,800.000 kroner for the development of this steamship lino. The ferry proposition an formulated by the Railroad Council in 1919, comprising a Tegular daily trip each w:\vbetween Gothenburg aud the Hufobcr, was reckoned at a cost of 30,1100.000 kroner for the six ferries; 0,100,000 kroner for the building of a port in Gothenburg and 7,312,000 kroner for yearly nuuihig e-spewscs..'
