Mr and Mrs H. R. Elder are still in the South Island, chiefly on account of the illness of the former. Among those shortly to leave to take up residence in Wellington are Mr and Mrs E. Brown, highly-respected residents of the township. It is reported that they have purchased a business in ©no of the suburbs.
