ADDINGTGN MARKET. Christclrurch, February 5. At Addington market to-day the yardings of stock in almost all departments were larger than last week, espc- ' cially in store sheep. There was an improved demand for better classes of lambs, and prices were fully 2m per head in advance of tho previous week's rates, though this was partly due to an improvement in quality. Wethers and ewes showed practically no change. Lambs were firm at late rates, and .Cat sheep, which were in short supply, sold mostly above freezing values. There was a decline in fat cattle and exporters were able to purchase more than at any previous sale this season. Store cattle were slower of sale, the quality being mostly moderate. Included in the yarding were between fifty and sixty bulls, and they were all bought by exporters. Springing dairy cows were in demand, and pigs were rather easier.
