PRESENTATION.
Prior .to her departure to take up her new duties as sole teacher m the Pukeniaori School^ Miss Robertson was' the recipient of a small present jitiou froni the staff of the Otautau School, where she has been an assistant for the-'past four years. In\asking her to. accept a photograph albumj, the Headmaster expressed the regret felt by all at Miss' Robertson's departure- Miss Robertson, had proved^herself a most efficient teacher and her influence would long- be felt and her name remembered with "respect m the Otautau School. He wished to thank Miss Robertson iov her assistance with the= School concerts, • the success of which were largely due to her efforts, and also for the interest; she had ways m the senior girls, having coached them ! m Basketjbair for a number of years. It wdfc .to -be regretted that Miss Robertson- ha'd-^bo. leave the Otautau Schoolin order to obtain promotion, but such being the case, they had to bow to the inevitable and could only congratulate Miss Robertson on her promotion and wish her every success m her new position.Miss Donnan also expressed regret at Miss, Robertson's departure, . r ' -but' was; confident that Miss Robertson would go far-ill the professibn as she had, all the. qualifications necessary for the making of a successful teacher.. In replying-, Miss Robertson said that she felt overwhelmed, at the kind remarks that had Vbeeii -showered upon her and which she felt cure ehe did not deserve, but she thanked the staff for their gift which would .always remind her .of the pleasant associations .she" had "had wit&. the staff -of the . Otautau School. ' She . also wished to -thank Miss poniian, and Messrs Milne and Stevens for their • many kindnesses during- her stay m Otautau. ■ ■■■•■ r , ■
