IN THE. MATTER OF "THE LOCAL BODIES LOANS ACT, 1926." IN- PURSUANCE of the provisions ol the above-mentioned Act NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Otautau Town Board proposes to raise a special- iloan, particulars relating to such' special loan being contained m Clauses numbered (a), (b), (c), and Id) respectively 'hereinafter set forth. (a) The particular purposes for which such special loan is required are for the erection of a gallery and carrying out improvements and alterations m. the Coronation Hall at Otautau including the provision of seating accommodation. (b) The sujn proposed to be borrowed by the said Board for the above-men-tioned purppses amounts to jgIOUO. (c) To secure repayment of the afore-mentioned loan- of ,£IOOO the saiu Board proposes to strike a special rait calculated at the . rate of three-six-teenths of a penny m. every ;£1 of the capital value- of the Otautau Town Board District such special rate- being struck to provide for payment of interest at the rate pf 6 3/4*. per cent, per annum on the said special loan and to provide further for the creation of a sinking fund after the rate of S per cent, per annum calculated on the amount of the said 1 . Bpecial loan. (d) The said Board propo.ses tha* the term of the said special loan shall be for t went y years and that the cosi of raising the said special loan shall be paid put of the said special loan.
