The equipment of the Hospital Ship is going to oost a good deal of money. Provision is to be made for 350 to 400 beds ; the whole equipment of the vessel will be purchased m New Zealand and she will be manned and staffed by New Zealanders. We have been asked to open a Standard list for the receipt of local subscriptions, several of which have alredy been promised. The care of our wounded lads is a responsibility we should face right away, and subscriptions towards the "Hospital oUja Fund" will be thankfully received at foo Standard Office and promptly remitted 1 to His Excellencey the Governor, Lord Liverpool.
