A demonstration of fruit tree pruning, bu 'ding, etc, orgaused by thp Opio Branch of the New Z-sahnd Farmers' Union was given by Mr Moodey, agricultural expert to the "South-and Education Board, and attracted over 40 Interested spectators to Mr 11. H Bisset'a orchaH, \vuu dale, on Friday, 7th August. Mr Moody treated his subject with groat skill, and his lecture and practical demonstration were watched with great inteiost.
