WHIBLEY— EVANS.

A quiet weddiug^was celebrated m the Presbyterian Church," Foxton, on June 28th, by the Her. T. Coatsworth, Methodist minister, when Mr Frank Daniel, youngest son of Mr and Mrs D. Whibley, old and respected settlers, was united to Jeanme, sixth daughter of Mrs D. Brans, of Foxton and late of Otautau, Southland. The bride. was attired m a nvvy blue tailor-made costume and were a black beaver hat with white plume, and was attended by her sister, Miss Margaret Brans, attired m nayy blue tailor-made costume with black fur hat and violet leather. The bride was given' away jby her brother, Mr Alfred Evans. Mr W. Cook officiated «s best man. The bridegroom's present to the bride was a handsome silver-mounted handbag and to the bridesmaid a gold bangle. The bride's present to the bridegroom was a set of gold sleeve links. The " Wedding March" was played by the bride's sister, Miss Esther Evans. The happy couple left by motor car for Palmerston North en route for Wanganui, where the honeymoon is to be spent, after which they will settle down m Foxtou. We join m wishing Mr and Mr* Whibley long life, health and happiness.
