Opening of Orawia Church.

After many delays, from various causes, the Orawia Presbyterian Church is at last nearing completion, and now gives signs of its general architectural appearance. The official opening of the church, the erection of which marks an important period m the life history of the Merrivale Settlement, is to take place on Sunday, 28th inst., at 2 o'clock, when the Rev. J. Kilpatrick, of Green Island, will occupy the pulpit. Communion will be dispensed, and special music by a large choir will assist tbe service. Mr Kilpatrick will also preach at 7 m the evening. m On the following day, Monday, 29th inst., a social will be held at 7-30 m the evening to mark tbe occasion.
