Western District SubUnion.

The annual general me6ting,of the above Union was held' at }\iyerton on Saturday, 22nd: April. Present: F. C. Mills andH, Archdall (Otautau), L. Clapp (Nightoaps, Taringatura ahd Yfrey's Bush), A. 0. Milb (Orepuki and Riverton).

The following office-bearers were appointed ifor the ensuing reason : President, ¥. C,. Mills (re-elected) ; Vice-Presidents, Messrs De Clifford, Gonley, Todd and Jas. Egan ; Executive Committee: H. Archdall, C. Quested, "F. Boyle, L. Cross, G. McKonzie ; Secretary and Treasurer, 0. B. Bobertson (re-elected); Selection Committee. Bach club to have a representative, four to form a quorum.

The following referees were appointed : — Messrs A. Liddell, J. Forde, L. CroesVJ. Shields, E. Matbieson, , J. Andrews, A. C. Mills, Gr. Stevens, J. Armstead. Wrey's Bush and Tarangaturi Clubs applied for affiliation under W.D.S.U. m order to enter for banner competitions. The applications were granted on condition that the clubs mentioned carry out their engagements on grounds fixed by Sub-union. Orepuki, Otautau, Rivertcin, Wrey's Bush, and Taringaturi Clubs entered teams for Senior competitions, whilst Nightcaps (no first team this year), Riverton and Otautau entered teams for Junior competition. *•"* A sub-committee consisting ""of Messrs F. Mills, Archdall and Robertson were appointed to appoint the various referees foi the different games.
