WALLACETOWN STOCK SALE.

TUESDAY, MAT 11. The luvercar^ill Stock Agents report having held their usual fortnightly sale afc the Wallacetown yards this day* Fat Cattle— lo2 yarded. A small entry consisting of small and unfinished sorts, a large proportion of which were cows and heifers. Be3t bullocks £7 10s to £6 15s, good £6 10s to £6, others to £4 15s, best cows and heifers £5 10s to £5, others £4 17* 6d to £3 12s 6d. Store Cattle— l99 yarded. A fair entry, but prices were a little easier than those ruliug at last sale. Three and four-year-old steers £5 5s to £i 17s 6.i, two-year-old steers £3 2s 6d to £2 ss, yearlings and calves £2 la to 19s, two and three-year-old speyed heifers £3 7s 6d down to £1 15s, dairy cows £7 to £5 ss, others to £3* 15s, and down to £2 for boilers. Fat Sheep— lß2o penned. A large yarding, but prices were about on a p»r with those ruling at last sale. Extra heavy wethers 16s 7d, others ]5s 2d to 13s 6d, for good, and i2s lOd to 11s for medium and unfinished fat ewes L2s 2d to 9a for best, and 8s 8d to 6s 7d for others. Fat Lambs — 13s to Us 4d. Store Sheep— l6s6 penned. Store lambs were in slightly better demand and prices showed a little improvement on previous sales, while ewes and wethers sold at prices equal to those ruling at last sale. Lambs 10s 4d to 9s Id for best, and down to 6s 4d for others, two-tooth ewes 16s lid to 14s 3d, two-tooth to full-mouth 12s 6d to 10s 2d, wethers 11s to 9a 4d, down to 8s 6d.
