SPRING GUP ROUND STABLEFORD BOGEY On Sunday, 22nd August-, + be first round of match play for the Spring Cup, tire draw for which i,s displayed in the clubhouse, is to be played. There will be n Stableford Bogey played in conjunction. Those members not playing in the Spring Cup competition please arrange their own four for the Stableford. ' Clubhouse Opening At a meeting of the Opirnake Golf Club Committee held last Monday evening it was unanimously agreed to officially open the Clubhouse on September sth. The clubhouse, which has been renovated and enlarged, is now on a site opposite No. 1 tee on the links proper. Invitations will be extended to neighbouring clubs, and it is probable that a 12 hole Canadian foursome will be arranged. The new practice puttinp' oreen should also he in order for the occasion.
