FARMING FILMS
OAONUI SCREENINGS FEDERATED FARMERS There was a good attendance in the Oaonui Hall on Thursday, August 12th., when a film evening was held by the Oaonui-Opu-nake Branch of the Federated Farmers. Mr. W. T. Vaughan, Provincial organiser screened 5 films, including, "Vanishing Heritage," and films dealing with soils conservation and afforestation. At the conclusion of the screening Mr. Vaughan was accorded a unanimous vote of thanks.
An enjoyable supper, served by members of the W.D.F.F., was also appreciated.
