BOARD WANTED
TWO DENTAL NURSES APPEAL TO PUBLIC The principal dental officer, Palmerston North, has advised the Opuhake School committee that lie is making every endeavour to ensure that two dental nurses would he available at the Opunake Dental Clinic in the new term, hut the hoard problem will have to he solved first. This should he welcome news to parents, as there are considerable arrears of dental work among district children. The committee emphasises, however, that unless the full co-operation of parents and residents is forthcoming in guaranteeing board for the nurses, the present most unsatisfactory position is likely to continue indefinitely. , Here is a real opportunity to consolidate dental clinic activities in Opunake;, and in the interests of the children, an urgent appeal is made by the committee for permanent or temporary board for two dental nurses from September 6th.
