POLIOMYELITIS CASE
PUNGAREHU DISTRICT SEVEN-YEAR-OLD BOY Another positive case of infantile paralysis was reported to the district medical officer of health. Dr. E. W. Kinsey, at New Plymouth last week. He is a seven-year-old boy whose home is at Pungarehu. He has been admitted tq the New Plymouth hospital. This brings the total number reported in Taranaki since November to 29. It had not been confirmed whether the child attended school at Pungarehu hut, if he was a pupil the incubation period of the disease, the school, it is expected will be closed.
