8 VARIETIES METHOD OF APPLICATION Applications for allocation during the current year of the following Certified Government Stock seeds are at present being accepted by the Department of Agriculure*— Perennial ryegrass, Short-ro-tation ryegrass, Italian ryegrass, Timothy, White clover, Montgomery red clover, Cowgrass (broad red clover), Lucerne. Applications for these seeds must reach the Director of the Fields Division. Department of Agriculture. Box 3004, Wellington, not later than May 31 next to he considered in any allocation to be made this year. Applications must he made by mercantile firms on behalf of individual growers and must include : I. Name and address of grower. 2. Quantity of seed required. 3. Acreage of paddock to be sown. (If more than one paddock acreage of each to he given separately.) 4. Registered number and letter of area concerned if possible. 5. Where more than one class of seed is requested the application must state clearly whether the seed is required for separate areas, whether the requirement is in the nature of an alternative application for the same area, or whether different kinds of seed are to be sown together in the one area.
