SEPTEMBER MEETING SUCCESSFUL MART Mrs. Julian' presided over a good attendance at the September meeting. Apologies were received from Mrs. J. Starck arid Mrs.- Gadsby. A welcome was extended to a new mumber, Miss Joyce Martin. Mrs. Allan reported that the monthly 221 b iood parcel had been forwarded to Britain, and arrangements were made for the dispatch of the next one. The President thanked the members for their generous donations to the combined Corso ' opeal Mart, which realized the sum of £23-15-10. A donation of £2-2-0 was voted to the Makogai Leper Fund. A very interesting demonstration in weaving on a band loom, was given by Mrs. Allan. Mrs. Julian thanked Mrs. Allan on behalf of the members. Competition results: Best Bulb: Mrs. Allan Ist,, Mrs. Petty .2nd., Mrs.'Faull and Mrs. Mulligan equal 3rd. Best Bloom: Mrs. Holmes Ist., Miss Pettigrew and Mrs. Petty 2nd., Mrs. Allan and Mrs. Humphries 3rd.
