FOUND IN LAKE
OPUNAKE RESIDENT DISCOVERY AFTER SEARCH The body of Mr. Duncan Pollock, a well-known resident of Opunake, was recovered from the Opunake Power Board’s lake late last Thursday evening. Mr. Pollock, who had suffered indifferent health for some time, had been in the habit of taking a. stroll each afternoon. He left his home about 4 p.m.' and when he did not return at 6 p.m. a search was organised and his body was recovered at 11 p.m. An inquest was opened at 9 a.m. on Friday morning before the district coroner, Mr. Gr. G. Gloustoii, and after evidence of identification had been taken was adjourned sine die. The funeral took place on Saturday.
