GRAND NATIONAL j MEETING (By "Bernborough") Next Saturday finds the opening day of the Grand National Meeting at Riccarton, with the Grand National Steeples and the Winter Cup as the star items of the dav's racing. Fields are good except in the Steeples and interesting racing should be the order of the day. Track conditions are sure to be different from Treutham, but class horses are likelv to be in the money in most races. Acceptances and selections are as follows: — ENFIELD STEEPLES. Abt 2£m. With only a few races to date Magnaform is worthy of support after running second at the Hunt meeting.
