Transport was catered for by special free buses from the main centres with ten extra buses called out to handle the number of people. On arrival at the factory the visitors followed a fixed route embracing all departments. Forty members of the Ford staff were stationed at points throughout the route guiding the visitors in the right direction. The man on the line played his part magnificently, and trimmed or assembled with his best effort.
