LADIES GOLF NEW PLYMOUTH VISIT An enjoyable inter-club match, between New Plymouth and Opunake Club ladies took place at the local links on W ednesday, the match being uared. The president, Mrs. Morris welcomed the team, Miss Quinn returning thanks on behalf of the visitors. Results were (Opunake first); Mrs. Jackson and Mrs. Brennan lost to Mrs. Taylor and Mrs. Rvan, 2/1; Mrs. Gunson and Miss O’Sullivan heat Mrs. Vaughan and Miss Quinn, 2 up; Mrs. Malcolm and Mrs. Morris neat Mrs. Ilastal and Mrs. Lister 2/1; Miss Trotter and Mrs. Eitzherbert beat Mrs. Eddou.s and Miss McQuire, 4/8; Miss Wehipeihana and Mrs. Eagles heat Mrs. Barrett and Mrs. Johnston, 7/6; Mrs. Nicoll and Mrs. Pickering heat Mrs. Reaves and Mrs. Lovell, _ 3/2; Miss Watt and Miss Morris lost to Mrs. Griffiths and Mrs. Warrick. 3/2; Mrs. CTuden and Mrs. Thouirson lost to Mrs. Almond and Mrs. Saxton. 7/6. MATCH AGAINST TE NCUTU TEAM SELECTED The team to represent Opunake Golf Club in the match '.gainst Te Ngutu Club at Opunake on Sunday is us follows; Watt, Otene. Brennan, Snell, Bowater, Bullock, Simpson, Burton. Baylis, Shields, Leaver, Yep, Pickering. Chuston, Harding, Trotter, Niccol, Peat snr., Sorrenson, Thomas. Team members are asked to be at the Club House at 1 p.m. sharp and are also reminded that for inter-Club matches it is customary to bring a plate.
