Repeating their success of last week against Hawera Technical High School, the Opunake Distriot High School first easily accounted for the Stratford' Technical High School second fifteen when the annual match v.-as played at Opunake on Wednesday. Dominating the play, the Opunake forwards were largely responsible for the team's success by 19 points (5 tries two converted) to 3 points (a penalty goal). The <?ame was played in good weather although rain overnight had made the "ground slippery and handicapped hack play. Stratford had the better of the opening exchanges but the Opunake pack soon adjusted themselves to the conditions and forced play to Stratford territory.
