Easter Train Arrangements.—
The Railway Department ad vertises in this issue particulars of train arrangements in connec-
tion with the forthcoming Easter Holidays, Gala at New Plymouth, and train arrangements and issue of cheap excursion fares for Trotting Races at Hawera on Bth and 10th April. Third Grade Practice. —
The following third grade Rugby players are to report for a compulsory practice at the Domain at the week-end, at 1 o’clock: Lance Hohaia, J. Richards, W. Bailey, J, Olliver, K Hickey, D. Julian, G. Choral Music.— For music-lovers, there is an event of exceptional interest and appeal on Monday night, when the sacred cantata “Olivet to Calvary” (-T. H. Maunder) will he. - rendered in St. Barnabas’ Church hy the combined choirs of All Saints’ (Eltham) and St. Mary’s (Hawera). Both choirs possess great talent, and in combination they should he capable of a very fine rendition of this favourite work, so suitable to the occasion of Easter. The rendition will commence at 8 o’clock.
