Carden Party.—
Autumn has been kind to tlio garden, and there is a notably attractive display at present in the lovely grounds of Mrs. J. A. Stevenson’s residence at Watino Road, Pihama. In this ideal setting tomorrow, the Opunako branch of. the Plunket, Society will conduct a garden party, and a small admission charge entitles the natron to all the fun of the fair. Stalls will be in operation, and there will be various rompeiition.s for amusement, but the garden, no doubt, will be a centre of attraction. Add to these a worthy cause such as the society represents, and the appeal of the function is complete.
