WEDDING
MARTiN-FITZHERBERT
At St. Joseph’s. Church, New Plymouth, on Monday, March 27, the marriage took place of
Janet Puth, eldei- daughter of
Mrs. A. Allan and the late Mr. A. PitzlTerbert, of Inglewood, to llobert Steele, eldest son of Mr, and Mrs. M. S. Martin, of Lower Hutt. The wedding ceremony was a quiet one, and was attend-
ed by relatives and close friends. Blue, crepe-dq-chine was the material chosen for the bridal dress, and a blue hat and accesories to tone also were worn. Attending the bride as bridesmaid was Miss Eileen Olsen (New Plymouth), who was attired in a navy blue costume, with matching accessories. Sprays of pink rose-buds and blue hydrangea petals set off the frocks of the bride and her attendant in charmin g fashion. Mr. C. Mason, of Hawera. acted as best man. At the conclusion of the ceremony, a private reception was held at the bride’sjiome in Inglewood, and later the happy couple left on a motor tour of the Auck-
land province. Mr. and Mrs. Martin will in future reside in Opnnake.
